After a career spanning democracy building overseas, sustainability leadership in the private sector, and years of community service at home, Chris Demers is running for Congress to bring steadiness, accountability, new leadership and common sense back to Washington.

He believes too many elected officials are locked into partisan combat while families face rising housing and grocery costs, an unsustainable national debt, and growing distrust in public institutions. Running as an independent, Demers is focused on solving problems rather than defending political positions. He believes public service should be about sound judgment, ethical leadership, and standing up for the people you represent.
